Stahl & Associates Insurance has an immediate need in our St. Petersburg office for a Commercial Lines Technical Assistant. We are looking for an energetic, eager, self-motivated professional to join our amazing team and provide top notch service to our clients. This individual will work closely with Commercial Lines Account Managers, Account Executives and other members of the team to service our clients by handling the following duties: issuing certificates of insurance; ordering Motor Vehicle Records for commercial accounts; reviewing commercial policies and endorsements; updating applications in the Agency Management System; reviewing carrier websites to obtain applicable information pertaining to commercial accounts; processing incoming mail, such as policies and endorsements; handling telephone and email requests, providing quality customer service to build and maintain client relationships. This individual will also provide primary back-up coverage for the front-desk receptionist, covering for lunches, breaks and vacations.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Strong computer literacy, including knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and Teams
• Agency Management System experience required, AMS 360 experience greatly valued
• Experience with certificates of insurance preferred, but not required
• General knowledge of insurance terminology
• Must have a current FL 4-40 or 2-20 license, or be willing to obtain quickly
