Stahl & Associates Insurance, a Higginbotham Insurance partner, is seeking an experienced small business Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic and growing team in Oldsmar, FL. We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable insurance professional who enjoys a team-oriented culture, work/life balance, and providing superior service to small commercial clients.

This position will handle all aspects of servicing and marketing a large and varied book of small to mid-sized commercial P&C business accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience handling tasks from A to Z, such as processing and renewal of policies, endorsements, and rating and quoting of new and renewal business. This individual must possess excellent customer service skills in order to answer policy and coverage related questions and must be able to multi-task and pay strong attention to detail. This candidate will document conversations, emails and correspondence with customers and carriers in the Agency Management System, maintaining a paperless environment. Experience using AMS 360 is preferred. Must have a current FL 2-20 license. Designations desired, but not required.
 

• At least 3 years’ independent agency experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to complete tasks efficiently and accurately, with attention to detail
• Strong problem solving abilities
• Adaptable, with the ability to organize and prioritize workload
• Ability to negotiate with carriers in the best interest of the client and the agency
• Agency management system experience required, AMS 360 experience preferred
• Current FL 2-20 insurance license required
• Professional insurance designations highly desired, but not required
